Heart Wrenching

Im in the office now with absolutely no task whatsoever. The boss left the building which means I can freely use the internet at will. Finishing up my book on child counselling (don't ask me why I chose this book, I picked it at random at home and I have a hunch my parents used this to raise me up). Read an article in The Star newspaper today front page, 'Beaten while looking for help'. This is one of the most sickening news of how society has fallen for the worst. My cousin had an accident a week ago on the road and fell unconscious after the crash only to wake to find his wallet, PDA and other valuables lost after the collision. People taking advantage of the misfortunate are almost anywhere. Seeking help in this age has never been so dangerous.

Thanks

Probably one of the weirdest card I've retrieved all my life. I would like to convey my gratitude to the two designers that could produce interesting greeting cards if they decided to market their ability. Thank you very much

PS: Not mentioning others whom have greeted me or gave me presents does not mean I do not appreciate your gifts/ wishes as well. Thank you very much

Family Vacation

Recently, we had a family vacation trip to Kuantan. I applied for an absence leave from work and went of for a three day vacation. In order to reach our designated retreat, we had to go through a jungle looking path. Very very 'ulu'. . .

Secluded jungle spot

By a private beach

Sri Cahaya Bungalow (looked more like a long house to me)

Without any means of communication to the outside world, we had to occupy ourselves with the games provided such as a chess/ chinese chess board game, poker cards, darts, ping pong, carom and UNO stacko blocks. Some of us brought along outside entertainment as well such as mahjong, PSPs, guitars, cameras and fishing rods.

Ping pong pros

The beach was a perfect spot to harvest oysters and snails. We had fried/ raw oysters and snails for some of our meals.

Patience is the key to food

The beach was magnificent but it was not advisable to swim due to the underwater current

So most of the guys just hanged around on the beach and fished

From the sandy beaches of Kuantan
